This painting is inspiried through the artist of Peter Doig. It symbolizes the mountains in the background, while the person is in the foreground. One day, I went to Italy, Lake Garda for a daytrip and saw beautiful enormous mountains there. This reminded my then of one image which Peter Doig has been doing with a man and his hat. By thinking about me being in or playing part in a landscape, makes this piece a memory of mine, what I really find outstanding, especially with the coloured blocks added.
